Manage Budgets

Manage budget access permissions, transfer or add funds, or archive.

View and Manage Budgets

  1. Navigate to Budgets from the sidebar.

  2. On the right side of a budget, select the 3 dots ... to take the actions covered in the following sections:

    • Edit (change name or access permissions)

    • Transfer Funds

    • Add Funds

    • Archive Budget

Edit Budget

Change a budget's name, or change access permissions to control which teams can use its funds for research. Your default "Workspace Budget" cannot be changed.

  1. Navigate to Budgets.

  2. Select the 3 dots ... to the right of the budget and select Edit.

  3. Edit the incentive budget name as desired.

  4. Access: Set budget access permission to determine who it will be available to, whether Entire workspace has access or Only specific teams have access.

    • If only specific team(s) will have access, select which.

  5. Select Save changes to apply.

Transfer Funds

Transfer funds between budgets (if you have 2 or more budgets).

  1. Navigate to Budgets.

  2. Select the 3 dots ... to the right of the budget to transfer funds INTO.

  3. Select Transfer funds.

  4. In the popup, select the budget to use as the source to transfer funds OUT of.

  5. Enter the amount to transfer.

  6. Review your selections.

  7. Select Transfer funds to confirm and instantly transfer.

Add Funds

Instantly add funds to any budget via a credit card on file, or avoid the 3% processing fee and add funds via ACH Invoice by contacting Rally Support. Once you have a credit card added, you can add funds to budgets any time.

  1. Navigate to Budgets.

  2. Select the 3 dots ... to the right of a Budget and select Add funds.

  3. Select a credit card on file to use as your payment method.

  4. Enter the amount to add in USD.

  5. Review carefully before selecting Confirm and Add Funds to complete!

Archive Budget

Hide a budget that is no longer in use. Archived budgets will be hidden but kept around for historical accounting purposes. To archive a budget, you must use or transfer any remaining funds to another budget first to reach a balance of 0.

  1. Select the 3 dots ... to the right of the budget you wish to archive.

  2. Select Archive budget.

  3. In the popup, select Archive budget to discontinue access to this empty budget.
