Add and manage credit card(s) to fund research budgets for Rally's incentives and external panel recruitment.

This article provides instructions for customers using Rally V1. Your Rally admin will let you know when it's time to switch to Rally for Teams. For customers using Rally for Teams, jump to the Rally for Teams section below.


🚨 Viewing and managing Billing requires an Admin role type.

Add Credit Card(s) to Fund Research Budgets

  1. In the top right corner of Rally, select your user icon and select 'Settings'.

  2. From the sidebar, select 'Billing'.

  3. In Add New Card, enter all required details for the credit card(s) you'd like to use to add money to your budget(s):

    1. Full Name of the cardholder.

    2. Credit Card number

    3. Expiration Date (MM/YY)

    4. CVC

  4. Confirm all details are correct and select 'Save'.

🚨 Funding your research budgets with a credit card adds a 3% processing fee. To avoid the 3% fee, easily fund your budgets via ACH transfer instead.

Receipts for credit card charges will be emailed from Stripe to the person who added the funds to Rally. If you need an additional copy of these receipts, please contact us.

Most customers instead opt to remove the overhead while also avoiding the 3% processing fee by requesting an invoice for incentives and/or external panel recruitment every quarter, often adding $5-10k or more at a time to cover a longer period of time.

Remove Credit Card

Easily delete a credit card from Rally to ensure that no further charges are processed on it, or to replace it with an updated credit card.

  1. In the top right corner of Rally, select your user icon and select 'Settings'.

  2. From the sidebar, select 'Billing'.

  3. Select the trash icon next to the saved card to delete.


Rally for Teams

The steps above are for customers using Rally V1. The section below includes specific instructions for customers using Rally for Teams.

🚨 Creating and managing Billing requires the "Create and modify billing settings" permission. This includes the Rally default role Admin.

  1. In the top left corner of Rally, select your workspace name and select Settings.

  2. From the sidebar, select Billing.

  3. In Add New Card, enter all required details for the credit card(s) you'd like to use to add money to your budget(s):

    • Full Name of the cardholder.

    • Credit Card number

    • Expiration Date (MM/YY)

    • CVC

  4. Confirm all details are correct and select Save.
