Connect Slack

Connect your Slack account to Rally to get real-time notifications from RallyBot about participant activity, study progress, and interviews.

Slack is a personal integration, so each Rally user connects their own account. Your notifications are sent only to you, as direct messages from RallyBot, for the studies, forms, and participants you're involved with.


Connect your Slack account

Steps

  1. Navigate to Settings > Connected Accounts.

  2. Select Connect Slack.

  3. In the popup window, sign in to the Slack workspace you want to connect.

  4. Review the requested permissions, listed in the table below, and select Allow.

  5. The popup closes automatically and Slack shows as connected on the Connected Accounts page.

Configure Slack notifications

  1. Navigate to Settings > Notifications.

  2. Select the Slack checkbox next to each notification type you want to receive.

Slack notifications from RallyBot include links that take you directly to the related study, screener, consent form, form signup, or interview. See Notifications for a description of each notification type.


Disconnect or reconnect Slack

To disconnect, navigate to Settings > Connected Accounts, select Disconnect next to Slack, and confirm. You'll stop getting RallyBot notifications until you connect again.
