Forms

Forms are a powerful research tool designed to seamlessly bring your customers (or prospects, and beyond!) into Rally as participants for future research. Capture participants with digital sign-up forms to easily grow your audience.

  • Use forms to share a link anywhere you want to capture new participants from.

  • When participants submit a Rally form, their profiles are populated in the CRM.

  • Build dedicated research panels/programs, or just grow your participant count.

  • Optionally screen new signups, require signed consent, or hold them for manual approval before they're added to your database. See Create a form for the full setup.

Common use cases

Build research panels/programs

  • Forms act as an entry point for growing and maintaining a sustainable database of participants, creating an ongoing pool ready for future research with minimal ongoing effort. These can be specific use-case panels, or general opt-in.

Track sign-ups from a specific source or channel

  • Each form generates its own unique link, so using a separate form per channel lets you track which one is driving sign-ups. See Share and manage forms for how to share a form's link.

  • Sharing one form across several channels instead? Add a referral code to the end of the link for each channel (e.g. a query parameter), and Rally records the first and last referral code each person signed up with as a filterable property on their profile. See Track signups with referral codes for how to set this up.

How it works

Putting it together, using a form looks like this:

  1. Create a form

  2. Share or embed the signup link

  3. Watch new signups roll in. See Form signups and screener responses to view and manage them

  4. Invite new participants to research studies
