Resend or Cancel Unclaimed Incentives

Send a reminder email to Participants who haven't claimed their incentives, or cancel unclaimed incentives.

  • Take individual actions or in bulk for multiple participants as once.

  • Take action from Budgets > Payments, or from within a specific Study.

Incentives sent through Rally will follow Tremendous' standard 7-day cancellation window. This means:

  • You'll have up to 7 days to cancel a sent incentive that hasn't been claimed.

  • After 7 days, the incentive becomes non-cancellable and the funds are considered spent.

Resend Unclaimed Incentives

Send a reminder email & link to Participants who haven't claimed their incentives yet. Resending an incentive does not create a new incentive or deduct additional funds, it simply re-issues the same unique redemption link from the original incentive.

Reminder: You'll have up to 7 days to cancel a sent incentive that hasn't been claimed. After 7 days, the incentive becomes non-cancellable and the funds are considered spent.

Resend Incentives from Budgets > Payments

  1. Navigate to the Budgets page in Rally and elect the Payments tab.

  2. Search or filter for Participant(s) with "Unclaimed" Payment Status.

  3. Resend unclaimed incentives individually or in bulk.

    • Individually: Hover over a person's name, select the three dots (...) and select Resend Incentive.

    • In bulk: Select the checkboxes next to each person, and then select the 'Resend Incentives' button at the top of the table.

  4. In the popup, select Resend Incentive(s) again to confirm.

  5. Participants will receive a new email with their unique incentive redemption link.

Resend Incentives from a Study

  1. Navigate in a Study to the Incentives page from the side nav bar.

  2. Search or filter for Participant(s) with "Unclaimed" Payment Status.

    • Individually: Hover over a person's name, select the 3 dots ... and select Resend Incentive.

    • In bulk: Select the checkboxes next to each person, and then select the Resend Incentives button at the top of the table.

  3. In the popup, select Resend Incentive(s) to confirm.


Copy an Incentive Link

If you want to copy an individual Participant's unique incentive link to resend to them directly, you can locate that from either the Payments tab in Budgets for your Workspace or from within the Incentives tab within a Study.

Locate the Participant in the table, select the three dots (...) to the right of their name, and click Copy Incentive Link.


Cancel Unclaimed Incentives

If you've already sent reminder emails and Participants still haven't claimed their incentives you have up to 7 days from the time the incentive was sent to reclaim the incentive in Rally by canceling them.

  • Incentives that are within the 7-day cancellation window will have the Payment Status of Unclaimed (Refundable). Hovering over the payment status for a specific incentive will show the date the incentive is refundable until.

  • Incentives that have passed the 7-day cancellation window will have the Payment Status of Unclaimed (Non-Refundable).

The funds from canceled incentives will automatically be returned to your budget as long as they are canceled within Tremendous' standard 7-day cancellation window.

After 7 days, the incentive becomes non-cancellable and the funds are considered spent.

You can also cancel incentives that were mistakenly sent by accident, or if you need to cancel an incentive to send a new one or a different amount.

If a Participant has already claimed their incentive, it cannot be canceled.

Cancel Incentives from Budgets > Payments

  1. Navigate to the Budgets page in Rally and select the Payments tab.

  2. Search or filter for Participant(s) with "Unclaimed" Payment Status.

  3. Optionally add more filters, such as the Sent At date you will be canceling, ex:

    • "Sent At" is before "One year ago".

    • "Sent At" is before "Custom" and use the calendar to set a past date.

  4. Cancel unclaimed incentives individually or in bulk.

    • Individually: Hover over a person's name, select the three dots (...) and select Cancel Incentive.

    • In bulk: Select the checkboxes next to each person, and then select the Cancel Incentives button at the top of the table.

  5. In the popup, select Cancel Incentive(s) again to confirm. The canceled funds will be immediately returned to your budget.

Cancel Incentives from a Study

  1. Navigate in a Study to the Incentives page from the side nav bar.

  2. Search or filter for Participant(s) with "Unclaimed" Payment Status.

    • Individually: Hover over a person's name, select the three dots (...) and select Cancel Incentive.

    • In bulk: Select the checkboxes next to each person, and then select the Cancel Incentives button at the top of the table.

  3. In the popup, select Cancel Incentive(s) to confirm.
