Action Required: Connect Rally’s Enhanced Interview Scheduling

Reconnect your Google or Microsoft accounts to unlock new and enhanced capabilities and avoid interruptions.

Exciting news! We've updated Rally to have faster and more reliable scheduling for all, along with the ability for admins to decide who has access to email sending as you safely bring more new users into Rally. Additionally, the new and improved connection allows Microsoft/Outlook users to use Microsoft Teams for interviews, and to enable Observer Rooms in Microsoft Teams.

As we continuously work to improve Rally to better support you and increase your research capabilities, this update will be required for all users to avoid interruptions before we discontinue support for legacy Google and Office 365 accounts.

Please have all Rally users on your team follow the quick and easy 30 second steps below to update the relevant connected account to the new and improved connection.

Google

  1. Navigate to Connected Accounts in Settings: https://app.rallyuxr.com/r/settings/connected-accounts

  2. Connect to the new Google connection - you don't need to disconnect from Google (Legacy), we'll do this automatically once you're reconnected!

  3. Follow the prompts to connect your work email and allow all requested permissions.

  4. Done!

Microsoft/Outlook

  1. Navigate to Connected Accounts in Settings: https://app.rallyuxr.com/r/settings/connected-accounts

  2. Connect to the new Microsoft365 connection - you don't need to disconnect from Office365 (Legacy), we'll do this automatically once you're reconnected!

  3. Follow the prompts to connect your work email and allow all requested permissions.

  4. Done!

That’s it! You can now access faster and more reliable scheduling, and can unlock our new Microsoft Teams + Observer Rooms integration.


Admin Setting for Email Sending Permissions

If you want to disable email sending for users, visit Settings > Workspace > Account (or click here) to uncheck the box at the bottom and 'Save Changes.' Please do this before having your team reconnect their email accounts using the steps above.
