With Rally, you can create Studies in 10 different languages to better conduct research around the world. Select a language during the "Plan" step when creating a new Study to have Rally automatically translate web pages, screener endings, and uneditable elements of emails to your selected language. You can check your work each step of the way by using the 'Preview' buttons in the Study Editor.

Create a Study in Another Language
Many steps will be the same when creating a Study in another language, but please pay attention to the fields discussed in this article. Some customizable areas will require you to translate the text yourself to ensure the right information is provided to Participants.
Navigate to Studies and select the '+ New Study' button in the top right corner to get started. Enter a clear internal name for the Study and select the Study type. We strongly recommend including the language within the Internal Study name, such as "New Feature X Feedback - Q3 2024 (Spanish)".
Plan
Translate the External Study Name into the chosen language.
If you'll require Consent, select a Consent Form that is already translated into the chosen language - the text and content within Consent Forms or the Documents attached to them will not be translated for you. You can upload additional Consent Forms and Documents in other languages.
If your organization has different Brands for different countries or languages, you can select the correct Brand at this time. More Brands can be created in Settings.
Select the correct Language for Rally to translate this Study into. Very important!
Screener or Survey
If you're including a screener or survey, every question, question description, and question response option will need to be translated by your team. Prepare translated Question Templates ahead of time to quickly build screeners or surveys.
The questions, descriptions, and options below were manually translated during question template creation.
Rally-provided instructions for questions will be auto-translated to the chosen language, such as the calendar shown for date selections and the prompts displayed in text fields for short form text or number type questions.
Screener endings ^ will be automatically translated by Rally to the chosen language as seen in the preview below. You can choose to edit these messages in advance to further customize.
Scheduling
For Interview type Studies, customizable text within Scheduling must be translated to the chosen language.
In Event Setup, translate the text used in your Event Name and Event Description to the chosen language.
In Advanced, translate the Confirmation Page Message and the Fully Booked Page Message and Additional Note to the chosen language.
Select the 'Preview' button to see how the Rally Scheduler will appear to Participants.
Test
For Unmoderated Test type Studies, you'll need to ensure that the test used has already been translated to the chosen language. Select your preferred testing tool and enter the URL of the translated test.
Emails
Study emails must be translated in advance by your team. We highly recommended preparing translated Email Templates ahead of time to ensure approved, professional, and consistent communication for participants, allowing you to work faster when setting up new translated Studies. The email templates required will vary depending on the Study type used (Interview, Survey, Unmoderated Test).
Prepare translated Email Templates in advance for the following Email Types:

Email templates translated in advance can make the Emails setup step lightning fast!
If you're translating emails when setting up your Study, take care to update every field, including the editable text shown on buttons in email body by clicking on the button.
Note: Rally will auto-translate fields and content that cannot be edited, such as the Rally-generated Reschedule or Cancel interview links included in automated emails, and Personalization Tokens such as Interview Start Date, Interview Start Time, and Interview Length. See the example Participant email below and the template it was created from to see examples of translated fields.
Share
If you choose to enable a Welcome Page for Participants (whether via email or share links) you must select 'Edit Page' and translate the Headline and Description to the chosen language.
The CTA (call to action) button will be automatically translated by Rally by default.
