Every person added to Rally is assigned a Participant Profile, which consists of various views that provide a complete overview of the individual. This information is continuously updated automatically with every new interaction, manual data import or update or automatic sync, and research participation, and includes editable fields and clickable links depending on your role permissions.

Streamline Participant outreach by managing multiple email addresses in one profile.
✨ Assign primary and secondary email addresses to one Participant Profile so that screener and survey responses are automatically mapped to the same Participant.
✨Improve communication and reduce no-shows with the ability to contact Participants through their professional or personal emails.
✨Retain historical participation data by adding the Participant’s new email address to their existing profile.
✨Automatically CC secondary emails when sending out a bulk email from Rally. Note: Automatically CC'ing secondary emails when sending bulk emails a workspace-wide setting and is off by default. Contact Rally to enable this feature for your workspace.
Note: If an email doesn’t exist in your Rally database yet when a Participant interacts with Rally (such as through submitting screener or survey responses from a different email than the one in your database), a new Participant Profile will be created.
On the Overview or Properties tabs of a Participant Profile, select the 'Edit' button next to their email to make changes. Here, you can edit their existing primary email or select '+ New Email' to add additional email addresses (all additional emails are considered "secondary" emails).
