Rally notifies you about activity in your studies and panels, such as screener submissions, interview bookings, and consent form signatures. Notifications always appear in your Rally Inbox, and you can also get them by email, Slack, or both. Each notification links straight to the related study, screener, consent form, form signup, or interview.

To get Slack notifications, first connect your Slack account. Until you do, the Slack checkboxes are unavailable. Email notifications don't require a connected account.

Set up notifications

1. Navigate to Settings > Notifications.

2. Select the Email or Slack checkbox next to each notification type you want. Clear both to turn a notification off. Changes save automatically.

Notification types:

• Screener Completed: Get notified when a participant submits a screener or survey for a study you own.

• Interview Updates: Get notified when someone books, reschedules, or cancels an interview you're attending.

• Group Interview Updates: Get notified when someone books, reschedules, or cancels their spot in a group interview you're attending.

• Consent Form Submission: Get notified when someone signs a consent form for a study or panel you own.

• Unmoderated Test Completed: Get notified when someone completes an unmoderated test for a study you own.

• Study Limit Reached: Get notified when a study you collaborate on has reached its limit and stopped accepting participants.

• Interview Limit Reached: Get notified when a booking brings you to the daily or weekly interview limit set in your availability. The notification links to Settings > Availability so you can adjust it.

• Rate Completed Interview: Get notified after an interview you hosted is marked completed, with a link to rate the participant and add an optional note. This option only appears if participant rating is turned on for your workspace.

• New Study Applicants: Get notified when someone from an external panel applies to a study you own.

• Study Chat Message Received: Get notified when a participant sends a message in the Chat tab of a study you own. Chat is available for studies recruiting through Respondent.

• Form Signup: Get notified when someone signs up through a form you own.

Slack notifications

Slack notifications arrive as direct messages from RallyBot, so only you see them. Each message links to the related item in Rally. You can also reply to RallyBot or @mention it to ask Rally Agent a question. See Connect Slack for setup and permissions.

Email notifications

Email notifications are sent to the email address you use to sign in to Rally, from notify@mail.rallyuxr.com. Add this address to your contacts so they don't land in spam.

Your Rally inbox

Select Inbox in the sidebar to see your notifications.

• Filter to view all, unread, or read.

• Click a notification to go to the corresponding study, screener, consent form, form signup, interview, or unmoderated test.

• To delete a notification, hover over it and select the x.

• Select Mark all as read to move all unread notifications to read.
