This article provides instructions for customers using Rally for Teams (Rally V2). Your Rally admin will let you know when it's time to switch to Rally for Teams.
Quickly build new studies with best practices using pre-made Study Templates to begin research faster, with more confidence, consistency, and success.
🚨 Using Study Templates requires the "Create studies from templates" permission. This includes the Rally default roles Admin, Ops Manager, or Researcher, or create granular custom roles with this permission enabled.
Use Study Templates
Navigate to Studies from the left navigation bar.
We recommend opening Studies within the Team you plan to create the Study in, but this can also be done from the Workspace level Studies page.
Select + New Study in the top right and select Use a template.
Input all core study creation details:
Name: Enter a clear study name for easy identification.
Ask your organization about any expected naming conventions to follow.
Team: Check to confirm you're creating this study in the correct Team.
Users that are in multiple teams creating studies from Workspace > Studies may have access to change.
Template: Search or select the Study Template to use.
Select Continue to open the study builder and begin reviewing and editing.
Navigate through each section of the study.
Pre-filled fields were likely set by Admins to provide specific blueprints for success and best practices. Take caution when making changes to a template.
Carefully review every detail and field when building your study to be sure no placeholder text is left; customize each element and page for your use case.
On the final Review step, check for any validation errors that may need correcting.
Select Create Study. You'll automatically be redirected to the new Study Overview.
