Getting Started with Rally & Marvin

Automatically sync participant data from Rally to Marvin to power smarter research.

How does the Rally & Marvin integration work?

Rally syncs participant data directly into Marvin so that you can enrich Marvin insights with participant data from Rally. Setup takes just a few minutes, and once connected, the integration runs automatically every 24 hours to sync data to Marvin.

Connect Marvin and Rally

  1. In Rally, navigate to Settings and select the Integrations tab.

  2. Locate the new Marvin Integration option and select Connect.

  3. Enter your Marvin API token (provided in Marvin).

  4. Select Verify and Save to confirm the connection.

  5. Select Continue to map properties.

Map Properties Between Marvin and Rally

  1. Once connected, proceed to Property Mapping.

  2. Map Marvin fields to Rally properties, such as:

    • Email (core mapping field)

    • Name (map to First Name or Person [Full Name] in Rally)

    • Opted Out (sync opt-out preferences from Rally to Marvin)

  3. After mapping the necessary fields, click Save and Exit.

  4. You'll be taken to your Marvin integration overview.

  5. Select Run Manual Sync and Start Sync to trigger a manual sync and activate the integration.

Manage and Edit the Integration

  • You can always return to Settings > Integrations to adjust field mappings.

  • The sync history logs past syncs and any updates made.

Manually Sync Data Between Rally and Marvin

The integration runs automatically every 24 hours to sync data to Marvin.

To sync manually:

  1. In Rally Settings, select Integrations and select Manage next to Marvin.

  2. Select Run Manual Sync to trigger a manual sync and Start Sync.

  3. Once finished, participant records from Rally will update in Marvin.
